About Us

First Baptist Church is an independent, Bible believing Church. Independent means we aren't under the leadership of any certain denomination. We are simply a Bible believing church, and we are structured like the churches we see in the New Testament of the Bible. We do, however, fellowship with many churches of like beliefs both locally and across the country. We are a conservative church when comparing to the average church today. Our goal is that everything that happens during our services would bring honor and glory to God. With that in mind, we are careful to keep our music Christ honoring, our actions and apparel appropriate, and our message Christ centered. We believe the mission of the church is to spread the good news of Jesus Christ. Through various means of outreach, both locally and around the world, we are doing our best to tell the world about the good news of salvation.
