Ministries

The ministries of First Baptist Church impact hundreds of people each week. In I Timothy 1:12 Apostle Paul is writing and he says "And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry". We believe that God has called every Christian in to the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. While some will give their lives full time to the ministry, many others are counted faithful to serve in a ministry in the local church.

We offer a wide variety of ministries that allow many different types of individuals to be involved. As you consider a church, you should consider what opportunities are available to minister to others. We believe that it is good for a Christian to take time to offer help, love, and support to others.
