We were all new at one time, and we remember what it was like. We have provided the following information below to make your first visit as comfortable as possible.
First Baptist Church has the goal of developing strong individuals and families for Christ. We preach and teach out of the King James Bible. Our music is uplifting and God-honoring. We are an independent Baptist church.
When you first pull up to First Baptist Church, you will be greeted by a parking attendant who will guide you to the parking spots that have been reserved for visitors like you. At the front door, there will be a helpful greeter who will direct you to the proper classes for you and your children.
We offer over 30 different Sunday School classes in 4 different buildings, but we will do our best to guide and direct you every step of the way. We have a clean and professional nursery for your precious little ones. The nursery is staffed by experienced, loving people so you can focus on what God has for you in the service. During the Sunday morning service, we offer 4 different services for all different ages. These services are geared for the level of the individual child, teenager, or adult.
If you decide First Baptist Church is where you want to call “home”, we will get you involved so you can feel a personal connection to the church and people. Through the 5 different adult Sunday school classes, you are sure to find just what you are looking for. Our church has designed several ladies groups who meet and serve in various areas. We offer a thriving youth department for your young person where they can find other teens just like them. We also have programs that meet on Saturday mornings called “Eagles” and “Rubies” clubs. These clubs are for your children to learn practical life principles.
There are so many other ways to get connected to the church, so we encourage you to come and check it out for yourself! We hope that you will come and visit, and perhaps even call First Baptist Church “home” for you and your family.
If you have any further questions about the church, please do not hesitate to call, or ask a staff person when you come visit.
