I read a comment in an article today which stated something like this—“The Bible makes a poor club but a good sword.” We feel the effects as it pierces when we read and hear it. We also see its power as we use it in soulwinning. We do not beat people with it. The Word of God has a sharp power that simply changes people. I am glad that FBC is a Bible promoting, Bible using ministry.
We are thrilled to see the progress of the new building on Hwy. 75. Many people in our community have made positive comments to me about it. I believe it is a good testimony for the Lord even now as folks drive by it. For generations to come, if the Lord does not return before then, it will be a place to shine the light of the gospel and the truths from God’s Word.
