Facility Policy

In order to reserve any part of the facility, you must fill out a Facility Use Request Form. You can pick up the form from the First Baptist Church offices or submit one online using the link below. Reservations must be made 30 days ahead of time.

The facility is generally available during the following days and times:

Wednesday: 8am-3pm
Thursday: 8am-8pm
Friday: 8am-8pm
Saturday: 8am-6pm

Available Areas

Auditorium

Auditorium

The auditorium has seating for approximately 500 people. It is equipped with a full sound system, including a digital sound board. There are spot light fixtures and 3 LED fixtures that can be programmed for your event. There are also projectors and two screens on either side of the front wall. Detailed specs on equipment are available as needed.

The front classrooms are located off the foyer. There are four rooms and each one is equipped with chairs, a tv, and a podium.

Conference Room

It is a small room located in the northeast corner of the offices and is set up with a large conference table and 15 office chairs. There is also a 55 inch TV mounted on the wall, coffee maker, and microwave available to use.

Fellowship Hall

Fellowship Hall

The fellowship hall is located in the south wing of the building. It is a large, open-floor room approximately 6000 square feet with the kitchen located off the northwest corner. The normal setup of the fellowship hall consists of 8 round tables that seat 6 and classroom seating for 40. This can be rearranged for events as long as equipment is returned to its proper place. A 65 inch TV is mounted on the west wall as well as another mounted on a rolling cart. A $50 fee is applied for kitchen usage.

Pavillion

Pavillion

Located at the south end of the property near the pond—about 1/4 mile from the main church building. Access is available via the gravel drive. This 40'x80' open-air structure includes a power supply and offers a scenic, peaceful setting for events and gatherings.
A $50 fee is applied for furniture usage and setup.

Office Supply Room

The office supply room may be utilized for copying, cutting and other office supply preparation needs. All use must be related in some way to the mission of First Baptist Plattsmouth. Copies may not be made for work or personal business endeavors.

Fee Payment Policy

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of your anticipated fees is due at time of reservation. All anticipated fees must be paid in full one week prior to the event. There is no exception to this policy.

Audio & Visual

A First Baptist Church technician is required for all events requesting sound, lighting or multimedia presentations. Based on the scope of your event, more than one technician may be required. There is an additional fee for this service. Setup and sound checks must take place during the rental time frame with a First Baptist Church Technician.

Event Information

First Baptist Church reserves the right to cancel any event due to unforeseen circumstances. If First Baptist Church cancels your event, you will be refunded any and all fees paid. You may then rebook another date with a 50% discount on the facility rental fee. Customers should only access the parts of the facility that they have rented. Other parts of the facility should be considered off-limits and should be communicated to their guests.
